Brent Gohmert, Owner

Brent's story begins as young teenager helping his late grandfather build and donate ramps for handicapped community members in Cuero, Texas. Those service oriented projects became bonding moments and inspired the dream of starting his own construction company.

Brent attended Texas A&M University where obtained his Bachelors degree in Architecture and became an excellent draftsman. His focus in environmental design led to published research in disaster recovery construction solutions. He has travelled the coast from New Orleans to Staten Island, where he studied damage and recovery efforts from Hurricanes Sandy and Katrina with long-term plans to one day apply that knowledge to the Coastal Bend region. Knowing the end goal was always to start his own construction company, Brent completed his studies at Texas A&M with a Masters degree in Construction Management. Since then, Brent has remodeled and built homes, metal buildings, shops, restaurants, offices, car washes, gas stations, lube centers, schools, and even bowling alleys and laser tag arenas. He has become a jack of all trades, but now is is a master of one - custom homes. As your builder, Brent's goal is to provide you with an enjoyable homebuilding experience and a finished product you can be proud of.

Brent is married to his high school sweetheart, Hannah. Together they have three sons, Waylon (7), Clancy (5), and Amos (3). When he's not working, Brent enjoys hunting, travelling, golfing, and volunteering in the community. Brent is a Rotarian and an active member of his church, where he leads a men's Small Group, plays the drums during worship, and serves in other areas of ministry.
